Find your potential | Learn something new | Shift your perspective | Explore what's possible | Broaden your horizons Curious? Come and watch a TED talk in your lunchtime — 20-30 minutes of “Ideas worth spreading”. We will show one or more TED talks each week, some with a community or business focus; others to generally inform and inspire. Bring your lunch. Stay longer to chat about what you’ve seen. TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues. We will show one or more TED talks each week, some with a community or business focus; others to generally inform and inspire. This week we will show two TED talks: — “How to speak so that people want to listen”. Have you ever felt like you're talking, but nobody is listending? In this useful talk, you'll see demonstrations of the how-to's of powerful speaking. A talk that might help the world sound more beautiful. — “This is what happens when you reply to spam email”. The online world is full of suspcious emails these days - including the classic promise of large amounts of money coming our way. In this rather hilarious talk, we'll find out what happens when you reply!
