It Is What It Is - Tanya Ransom

Tanya Ransom fuses folk blues and alt country in an alchemy of songs that are emotive and captivating. Her strong and soulful voice echoes that of the ancient Kimberley landscape in which she resides. Nominated for WAM Regional Act of the Year and WAM Song of the Year, 2017 seen Tanya release her sophomore album ‘The Art of Departing’. Working alongside fellow West Australian musician and sound engineer Dave Mann and award winning sound engineer James Newhouse of Real2Reel (The Waifs, Ash Grunwald). Laden with songs of love and loss, heartbreak and the beauty of the great southern land, this album is finding its way into the hearts of many.
